Why this exists

Researching programs is the most expensive hour of your week.

Every time you take on a new student, you're back in the research tunnel — Googling programs, decoding eligibility, verifying URLs, building a list. The directories aren't built for consultants. The data isn't structured for your workflow. The hours add up.

01

Snowday and SummerApply are for parents.

Built for families browsing programs, not consultants doing strategic research. Wrong layer of detail. Eligibility flags inconsistent. Featured programs are paid placements you have to talk families out of.

02

Building your own database is a year of work.

You've thought about it. Maybe started it. Then the cycle hit, students happened, and the spreadsheet went stale. URLs rot, deadlines change, programs disappear. Maintenance is the killer.

03

CollegePlannerPro tracks students, not programs.

Workflow tools manage your business — calendars, files, invoicing. They don't tell you which programs to recommend. That research still happens by hand, every time.

Founders

Built by consultants, for consultants.

Lumisheets is built and maintained by two working admissions consultants. The library you're buying is the same one we use with our own students every week.

P

Paul

Co-founder · Bangkok

Independent admissions consultant based in Bangkok, working with international students applying to selective US universities. MFA from NYU. Spent the last decade building strategic shortlists by hand for his own students. Lumisheets started as his personal research library — and got too good not to share.

J

John

Co-founder · Tokyo

Tokyo-based admissions consultant working with families across Japan and East Asia. Brings deep instincts about what consultants actually need from a research database — built around real workflow, not features for features' sake.

FAQ

Common questions.

Access to the full Lumisheets library — 49 subject sheets covering ~1,000 hand-vetted programs, awards, and scholarships. Each entry is tagged with selectivity tier, eligibility flags, costs, deadlines, and strategic notes. Everything is searchable and filterable right in your browser — nothing to download or install. Updates happen in place, monthly.
Same library, same access, same updates. Annual saves you $41 versus paying monthly ($240/yr vs $199/yr) and comes with a 30-day refund window. Monthly is flexible — no commitment, cancel anytime.
Individual plans are per-consultant — one login, one access. If you have a team, email us about a Team arrangement. We'll set up shared access under one invoice at a rate that makes sense for your firm size.
Every month we verify URLs across all 49 sheets, refresh deadlines for the new application cycle, add programs that have launched, flag programs that have closed, and update consultant notes where strategic guidance has shifted. Roughly 50-100 changes monthly across the library. We also add new subject sheets periodically.
Snowday and SummerApply are consumer-facing directories built for families browsing programs. They're free because they monetize via paid placements. Lumisheets is built for consultants, has zero paid placements, includes awards and scholarships (they don't cover these consistently), and is structured for professional research workflow rather than parent browsing.
Yes — and we obsess about this. US-citizen-only programs (NSLI-Y, CLS, MITES, Stanford SIMR, NIH HS-SIP, Clark Scholars, etc.) are flagged in red. Residency requirements are documented. Age and grade restrictions are explicit. Most directories get this wrong; we treat it as the most important field on every entry.
Yes. Cancel anytime and your access continues until the end of your billing period — no clawback. Annual subscribers also get a 30-day refund window: if Lumisheets isn't useful in your first month, write to us and we'll refund the full amount.
Email us. We answer all subscriber emails personally — not a support ticket queue, not a chatbot. You're talking to one of the founders. Found a broken link or a program we've miscategorized? Tell us; we'll fix it in the next update cycle.

Stop researching. Start consulting.

49 subject sheets, ~1,000 vetted entries, updated monthly. Subscribe in two minutes, get access in five.
