What Lumisheets is

1,382 programs, awards and scholarships for your students, checked against the source every month.

Last verified September 21, 2026

Lumisheets is a reference library for high school counselors and admissions consultants. Every entry is tiered by readiness, tagged by eligibility and annotated with my notes. I verify it myself, so you can answer a student’s question without an evening of research.

Duke TIP shut down in 2020. Its page still loads.

A link checker passes it. The address works and nothing on the page says the program has ended, so plenty of lists still carry it.

That is why a working link is only the first step here. Every month, every stored link is opened and every program is checked against its official source: dates, deadlines, cost, eligibility, and whether it is still running at all.

Each month’s changes are published in the change log. If you find a mistake, email hello@lumisheets.net and I will check it against the source and correct it.

Paul

I have been an independent admissions consultant for ten years and read applications at NYU for two. I built Lumisheets because I was doing this research from scratch for every student.

What you can do with it

The library is the reference. My Students is where you put it to work. Each student has a workspace you share with them: what you save, they see; what they add, you see.

My Students

Add a student and they appear by grade. Archive the ones who have graduated, download a backup of everything at any time, and select several students to work on at once.

Programs and Competitions

Search any sheet in the library and save an entry to a student. It appears in their workspace the moment you save it. The student can do the same: browse the library, save what interests them, and you see it on your side.

Transcripts and Grades

Keep each student’s transcript and grades with the rest of their record, so you are not asking for them again every time a program needs a GPA.

Activities, Honors and Awards

A running record of what the student has done and won. By the time an application asks for an activities list, it is already written.

Tasks

Give the student something to do. You see how many are open; they see what is next.

Message your student

Every student you add gets a student account of their own. Save an opportunity, send them a message about it, and they open both from the workspace you share. No email, no forwarding.

Road to College

A planning tool that starts from the student’s school and interests and works forward, drawing on the same verified library.

Books and media

Books, podcasts, films and articles for 31 subjects, saved to the student who should read them.

Student accounts are included with every plan at no extra charge. The student signs in to the same workspace, finds the opportunities, tasks and messages waiting, and can browse the full library and save programs and awards of their own. Every plan also includes the complete library. Browse the 82 sheets.
