Verification log, September 21, 2026

  • Reverified every listing against current official sources, including program dates, deadlines, costs, eligibility, age or grade requirements, international access and application routes. “TBD” now appears only when the provider has genuinely not published the information.

  • Checked and repaired official links throughout the library, replacing outdated or indirect destinations and reviewing each category for important missing opportunities.

  • Standardized concise display language across sheets—for example, “Mar” rather than “Apply in March,” “Free + $25 application fee,” and grades such as “9–12”—while retaining the relevant pricing year where necessary.

  • Reworked page design and spacing across programs, awards, scholarships, platforms and K–8 resources, including tighter line spacing, balanced expanded profiles, clearer typography and category dropdowns in place of crowded filter buttons.

  • Rebuilt expanded profiles and Consultant Notes: summaries are shorter, repeated facts and self-evident reminders were removed, and notes now focus on meaningful student strategy. Awards also use their correct dedicated Consultant Notes placement.

  • Expanded and reorganized the collection with newly discovered opportunities—including a dedicated Mechanical Engineering & Robotics awards resource featuring BWSI—and introduced Protocol V53 to preserve these verification, editing and presentation standards in future updates.

Verification log, August 25th, 2026

  • Advanced the Lumisheets verification standard from Protocol V18 through V21, adding stricter official-source research, programme-recovery, standalone-sheet and delivery requirements.

  • Established that every stored link must be opened and every programme must also be researched independently, preventing dead or outdated URLs from causing premature removals.

  • Added mandatory subject-specific gap searches, including reviews of free, selective, internationally accessible and underserved opportunities missing from each source sheet.

  • Expanded 23 sheets with more than 25 verified additions, including University of Miami Summer Scholars and Academies across relevant subject libraries.

  • Added NASA HUNCH to the Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace collections after confirming its relevance through official sources.

  • Corrected NYO2 scheduling to show that there is no summer 2027 programme and that its planned return is summer 2028.

  • Updated major UK scholarship collections, including 33 postgraduate entries, 21 undergraduate regional entries and 57 university-specific entries.

  • Rebuilt numerous scholarship, service, competition, enrichment, research, awards and platform collections as independent sheets instead of layering new code over old versions.

  • Expanded the Mathematics Programmes collection from 19 to 21 entries by adding MathPath and separating MathILy-Er from MathILy as a distinct verified programme.

  • Expanded the Civil Engineering Programmes collection from 19 to 21 entries by adding University of Kentucky SEEK and the University of Mississippi Environmental Engineering programme.

  • Corrected significant programme details, including Manhattan University’s current grades 5–8 camp, Stanford’s dedicated environmental-engineering course and the University of Hartford’s free civil-engineering camp.

  • Reassessed Editor’s Picks using selectivity, cost, funding, accessibility and advising value, while correcting the coding error that displayed non-picks as selected entries.

  • Standardized “Why this is an Editor’s Pick” across all future sheets as a restrained gold box with consistent wording, a 14px heading and 13px explanation text.

  • Strengthened production quality by requiring exactly three Consultant Notes per entry, complete static content without JavaScript, reconciled masthead and results counts, valid search/filter/sort/detail controls, balanced HTML and transparent reporting when visual rendering cannot be completed.

Verification log, August 17th, 2026

  • Chancellor's Scholarship (Vanderbilt) removed. Discontinued after the 2026-27 cycle; two successor scholarships are already listed separately on the same sheet.

  • King Abdullah Scholarship Program (KASP) removed. Redirects to a broken page with no working replacement found.

  • Center for Bright Kids / Western Academic Talent Search removed. Organization has permanently closed.

  • Duke TIP Talent Search removed, both duplicate entries. Program shut down in 2020 and never resumed.

  • YARN (Young Adult Review Network) removed from Writing Platforms. Permanently closed to submissions.

  • LMU Film Production, Wharton Sports Analytics Journal, ARML, and the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics all had broken or stale links corrected.

  • Marshall Society Essay Competition corrected on both sheets it appears on. The organization moved domains, and the listed deadline was a year out of date; it is now August 30th 2026.

  • Film & Filmmaking: full cost re-verification across all 18 entries. NYU Tisch, USC, LMU, Maine Media, and SOCAPA all had incorrect figures corrected. UCLA's Digital Filmmaking program has restructured from commuter to mandatory-residential with a new GPA requirement.

  • Mathematics: cost re-verification across paid entries. SUMaC, Pioneer Research Institute, and AwesomeMath corrected; AwesomeMath had been incorrectly marked free.

  • Chemistry sheet added. Eleven verified programs.

  • Cornell Tech Summer Innovation Intensives added, cross-listed on Computer Science & AI, Data Science & Statistics, and Entrepreneurship.

  • Tufts Entrepreneurship & Innovation Bootcamp added to Entrepreneurship.

Road to College

Every US college is now recognized, including nicknames. Type USC, UCLA, Ole Miss, W&M, or Cal Poly and it resolves. Each school brings its own admit rate, score range, and early plan.

Majors go two levels deep. Seven fields, 49 specific majors underneath them, each with its own guidance. Architecture tells you the portfolio needs observational drawing. Criminology tells you statistics matters more than students expect. Journalism tells you to get a byline anywhere first.

Law and prelaw is now its own track, with legal studies, criminology, constitutional studies, human rights, and forensic science as separate paths. It also says plainly what most families arrive not knowing: law schools require no particular major, and pre-law isn't a degree.

The tool now checks federal program data to tell you whether a school actually offers the major you picked, and names the degree as that school lists it. If they don't offer it, you get ten schools that do, sorted by selectivity, each linked.

No school in mind is now a starting point rather than a dead end. Choose a subject and the tool finds the schools.

Your high school now shapes the plan. IB students get Higher Level and Extended Essay guidance, A Level students get subject and EPQ guidance, AP students get told what to do when they run out of APs.

The plan itself was redesigned for reading. Light background, clearer hierarchy, and the programs and priorities for each term now stand out from the supporting detail.

Your email appears in the header when you're signed in, and login and sign out both behave correctly.

The verification date updates itself with each monthly cycle.

Verification log, July 17th 2026:

  • Baylor has retired its named Gold scholarship tiers and now awards a single consolidated merit scholarship. Entry rewritten.

  • AAUW International Fellowships are now restricted to STEM disciplines, and the application window has moved to 17 August through 17 September.

  • UAE government scholarships stopped funding UK study in January. Moved to the external scholarships sheet.

  • University of Arkansas: the New Arkansan award is tied to US state of residence and is not an international route. Corrected and re-scoped.

  • Dell Scholars: eligibility rewritten. The college readiness requirement has to be met in both junior and senior year, so it cannot be picked up late.

  • Two programs have closed and are removed: Mitzvah Corps and Chapman's Summer Film Academy.

  • Three Chapman programs added: Pharmacy Summer Research, Social Science Pre-College Research, and Summer Engineering Academy.

  • SCAD Rising Star now appears under one name across all four sheets, with a note on the GPA threshold that can count against a student.

  • Verification dates have moved off individual sheets to a single site-wide date.
